When I first joined BNI Coral Gables back in 2012, I thought I was just joining a group to help grow my client list. What I found instead was a professional community that changed the way I operate and how I live.
Today, I’m proud to say I run a thriving business, AZL Marketing, and I owe much of that success to the lessons and relationships I’ve built through BNI. The structure and accountability helped sharpen my skills as a communicator and leader. But more than anything, I’ve built a network of professionals who genuinely know me, like me, and trust me.
That’s a big deal.
When you're a business owner, things can get isolating. You wear all the hats, make all the calls, and feel like you’re the only one carrying the weight. But being part of a group like BNI reminds me I’m not alone. Every meeting is a chance to grow. Every handshake is an opportunity to learn something new. Professionally, BNI has helped me grow my brand and expand AZL Marketing into a company that delivers real results for clients. Personally, it has pushed me to be more intentional — a better listener, a more thoughtful leader, and someone who takes action even when it feels uncomfortable.
I believe in progress over perfection. I’m not here to be the best. I’m here to keep getting better as a marketer, a business owner, a father, a friend, and a person.
